Catering

At Camp Wombaroo we provide a nutritious, varied and plentiful menu to meet guests’ needs. In addition we are quite accustomed to serving guests with many dietary considerations, and whenever possible, we will accommodate guests with special dietary needs.  To facilitate this we will request a dietary and medical summary for your group at least two weeks prior to your event. In the meantime, please feel free to contact us to discuss any food allergies or specific dietary concerns you may have.  You will find a sample menu below.

In addition, our Catering team is quite accustomed to serving guests with many dietary considerations, and whenever possible, will accommodate guests with special dietary needs.

We actively encourage all participants to take some responsibility for the preparation and cleaning of the dining area around mealtimes and we will ask for your assistance in planning this.

Nut Policy

Camp Wombaroo maintains a policy of no nut or nut derivative ingredients (e.g. Peanut oil, Almond meal) in any food items provided. We also request that guests do not bring any food items which may contain nuts or nut derived ingredients.

Sample Menu

Our menus change with the seasons; with our kitchen crews inspiration and with what we have available. There is no set menu, but the examples below will give you an idea of what we offer here at Camp Wombaroo.  We also aim to cater for all dietary requirements.

Breakfast

  • Pancakes with maple syrup, toast and spreads, cereals—or
  • Bacon and French toast —or
  • Ham and cheese croissants.


Lunch

  • Lamb koftas with lettuce, tomato, tabouleh and hommus.
  • Sausage Sizzle or chicken skewers, sautéed onion, potato salad, breads and condiments
  • Homemade Beef Burgers served with lettuce, tomato, cheese and beetroot.
  • Stuffed potatoes served with diced bacon, coleslaw, grated cheese and sour cream


Morning and Afternoon Tea

  • Fruit, plus
  • Delicious home made muffins,

Dinner

  • Curry night (Butter Chicken, Indian potato stew with rice)
  • Teriyaki chicken with jasmine rice
  • Home made lasagne
  • Pasta carbonara with garlic bread & Greek salad.
  • Roast Chicken & gravy with steamed chats and vegetables
  • Spinach & ricotta ravioli with a creamy basil sauce and tossed salad
  • Agnolotti served with a tomato and basil sauce, garlic bread and green salad

Dessert

  • Fresh fruit salad with custard
  • Individual pavlova’s with strawberry coulis
  • Ice cream with hot fudge sauce
  • Chocolate pudding with custard
