Meet Our Staff

Stuart Whyte – Head of Camp Wombaroo

StuStuart, or ‘Stuie’ as he’s known, has been involved in outdoor education for over 20 years starting as a counselor in the USA and working in a variety of roles including Instructor, Trainer and Operations Manager plus working for a charity looking after disadvantaged youth.

Stuie has responsibility for both of OEG’s NSW camps – Camp Wombaroo and Biloela Bush Camp.  He is looking forward to the new challenges that await and continuing the good work that has gone into the camps by further developing the activity offering, facilities and service.

When he manages to take time off, Stuie likes to spend time with friends watching live music or going to support the mighty Rabbitohs. He is still trying to get to the beach as often as possible and is still trying to become a SUP master!

Jane Boadle – Office Manager

Jane Boadle

Jane is the voice at the end of the phone, ready to offer help and support to our guests by guiding them from initial inquiry through to their arrival on camp.

Jane has a background in Student Exchange Program Management and Tourism Coordination, which included her working for four years in Munich, Germany. Jane loves travelling, bushwalking, singing, speaking German and spending time with her family.

Chris Condron – Maintenance Manager

ChrisChris joined Camp Wombaroo in early 2014. New to the Southern Highlands, Chris moved to Bowral to raise his young family in a relaxing bush environment.

Chris has a diverse background in Industrial Arts, Circus Performance, Event Management and generally fixing anything broken.  When Chris hasn’t got his head in his tool box he’s either playing with his children or teaching Argentine Tango locally.

Nicole Jenkins – Catering Manager

Nicole webWith an extensive catering background that includes fine dining restaurants and function centres, Nicole and her team are passionate about providing a nutritious, varied and plentiful menu that meets the demands of an active Camp experience. All the dishes served are homemade using only fresh ingredients and they have gone down a treat with the guests so far!

Mel Elias – Housekeeper

Mel is a new addition to the team for 2016 and does as a great job keeping the camp clean and tidy.  Mel loves the Southern Highlands and has lived in the area for 16yrs.  When Mel isn’t rushing around Camp Wombaroo she loves running and keeping fit at the gym.
